We meet in three locations in and around Christchurch. Come along to one of our services this Sunday where we gather to encourage one another through singing, prayer, and hearing God’s Word preached. Whether you are a Christian or not, we'd love to meet you.
Our campuses
Coming along for the first time
You'll be greeted at the door by one of our friendly welcoming team. If you have any questions, they are a great place to start. We start off by singing together, followed by prayer then hearing the Bible read aloud and preached from. Services usually run for around 90 minutes. Stick around to meet people over food and drinks afterward.
I'm exploring faith
If you're exploring the Christian faith we'd love to have you join us at any of our Sunday services. If you want to understand who Jesus is in more depth, we'd encourage you to come to the Life Course. It's a free 4-week course that runs several times a year. We seek to boil Christianity down to the basics and show how Jesus makes sense of life. It's a relaxed environment with some time to hang out, a short talk, discussion time and Q&A.
I'm looking for a church
We'd love you to join us at any of our Sunday services. If you're considering making Cornerstone your church home and you're already a Christian, Newish is the next step. It's a five-week course designed to welcome you to Cornerstone. We look at five different areas important to a healthy church and see what the Bible says about belonging to God’s people. It’s perfect if you have already decided to join us regularly, but equally valuable if you’re still unsure and have questions. Each session includes some input from the Bible, discussions with other new members and food. From there, we can help you with the next step in church life.
