Fields Church is meeting at the Wood's home on Sunday 26th January

31 January - 2 February 2025

We’re thrilled to announce our very first Fields Church camp near the beautiful Mt Hutt! As a young church community, this weekend is a unique chance to grow closer, enjoy some time together, and consider how we can work together to advance the gospel as we learn from the book of Philippians.

Is camp family-friendly?

Yes. The venue has many activities for children and adults to enjoy. We also provide programmes for children while the adults are in the main sessions. The programmes are for children aged from 1 year old up to high school aged children. It will be divided into creche, primary-aged children and a youth programme. In the main hall we will have a small area set up for parents with babies.

Will I have any free time?

On Saturday afternoon there will be some scheduled free time. There are also small pockets of time throughout the camp where nothing is formally planned. We also have a mixture of formal sessions and informal activities throughout the weekend.

Will there be wifi?

There is wifi at Glenroy Lodge. There will be a password at the welcome desk. Please note that there is limited cellphone reception.

I’m feeling anxious about attending camp. What will be expected of me?

If you are feeling this way, please take part as little or as much as you feel comfortable. During camp there will be a range of different sessions, as well as free time. Some sessions are more formal with a bible talk, singing and praying. Other times it will be informal and a chance to relax and get to know one another. Over the weekend, there are various duties that need to be completed to ensure a smooth running of our camp. Everyone will be assigned to a group to complete these tasks.
